Just a quick post today to inform the few (but highly adored) readers I have, that I will be changing the blog posting frequency for a little while. At the moment, I’ve been aiming for a new post every 48 hours – or every second day – however it’s starting to become a bit much with everything else I am wanting to concentrate on as well.

When I first started the blog, I already had multiple tabs open with ideas for posts. It almost forced me to start the blog as I just had to tell someone what I thought about them. The second main reason for starting it was to help me clear out the thousands of unread emails, eBooks and other items I had begun to hoard since starting to learn Internet Marketing back in January of last year.

I’ve noticed the past week however, I’ve been focusing 95% of my attention to quickly finding the ‘next thing’ to comment on and then evaluating, researching and writing it all up. Because I want to provide my readers with in-depth posts on what ever I find to write about, be it good or bad, I don’t want to rush my posts. I’m never going to be one of those “har har look at this crap” or worse, “hey check out this totally awesome, absolutely insane, wickedly cool product I get a commission on”. You know, the blogs that love every product they post about and think you should too?

Then again, you only have to look back over my first few posts to realise I’m not that kind of blogger. ;-)

While I really do love trying to investigate everything as much as possible, it’s become a little hard to keep up the pace of every two days, especially when sometimes I have to first find an item, sales page or email worthy of a blog post. So, as of today (technically tomorrow), I’m going to drop back to two posts a week. Tuesday and Friday. I know this is not a lot of updates compared to other blogs out there, but I think with the kind of blog I want to be, it’s going to be a necessity.

This will give me all weekend to write up Tuesday’s blog, and all week to get Friday’s done. Not only will this avoid me rushing any posts, it will also allow to return to my original and ultimate goal for clearing out my inbox and folders full of downloaded ebooks, reports and what ever else I’ve collected along the way. (When I started, I had 2793 unread emails. I now sit at 3557. That number’s not exactly going down.)

On top of that I have my Cash in Members product I want to update and improve, along with it’s member support forum. Then there’s the new product ideas I’ve got jumping around my head such as the guide to advertising networks as originally born out of  The “Magic Code”… Oooooh blog post. With how I am currently managing my time, there’s just no way I’d get that or the other ideas I have done.

I’ve been feeling slightly frustrated the past couple of days and getting annoyed at how much I don’t seem to be getting done, this was a change that had to happen. Even if only temporarily. And I figured that I might as well do it now, while the blog is still so young…

The short version of my meant-to-be-short post is: I’m applying the golden rule of Quality over Quantity, in everything I do this year.

Oh yes, and P.S. tomorrow is Friday so there will be a blog post. I’m actually really excited about it to as it’s the first product I’ve seen in a while that’s really made me go “wow!”

P.P.S. Blogging days will be Tuesday and Friday Australian time. So could be Monday and Thursday for a lot of you heh. To make sure you never miss a post, be sure to Subscribe via RSS, Follow me on Twitter or sign up to the email newsletter at the top!
