I agree with you 100 percent. I have been labeled "pedantic" when it comes to spelling and grammar by many of my friends. My partner is in Internet Marketing and when he shows me some of the crap that people write, I find it hard to understand how anyone would want to purchase a product from someone who doesn't even know how to spell... What I find incredible is that studies have shown that if you take two near-identical sales letters - one with perfect spelling and grammar, and the other with spelling errors throughout - the one with spelling errors converts better. If you're going to criticize another person's spelling and grammar, you may want to make sure that yours is flawless (which it is not), otherwise it makes you look a little foolish. 1.
